Presumably thatโ€™s because installing it would require an unreasonable amount of time and effort.
Meanwhile on Windows or macOS we can just download a nicely pre-packaged binary. Itโ€™ll either be statically linked or will bundle any dynamic libraries it needs, so we can just double click and start using it.

Linux already has this in the form of AppImage but people have to stop being autistic about package managers.
Package managers aren't a feature it's a cope because Linux maintainers don't know what a stable platform target is.
