the best we have today is an iphone with the clicks keyboard, but it just feels too awkward, tall and top heavy to use it.

I got a zflip for $800 and still holds up 3 years later, almost 4. It takes up less physical space and is surprisingly strong when folded or otherwise. The crease is a non issue even now; it has to be under very specific light conditions to notice or become a distraction. Hinge still works as it did day 1, and it can be novel having yt on one screen, gps on the other during long drives.
Granted I don't use the fold screen much so I'd argue that's the most gimmicky part.

i have an S24U and i'm legitimately considering getting a flip because the processing leaps have plateaued and i only use my phone for videos/web and gacha dailies anyway. my big concern is the crease and it looks like it's basically fixed in the flip (but very much present in the fold which i had no interest in to begin with)
