>Intel still dominates x86 CPU market by ~75%
So once Intel launches their X3D CPU equivalent SKUs with Nova Lake next year, performance will match at minimum... then what will AMD do? nobody buys Ryzen non-X3D CPUs except OEMs

I have an AMD PS5 and Steam Deck, a Threadripper Desktop, ARM Macbook and ARM Surface, I don't remember the last time I used an Intel system. Even 20 years ago I was using Athlon XP and Athlon 64 cpus.

i suspect they'll launch an even faster x3d chip and the inteljeets will be all about muh multicore performance at a very specific power limit the singular scenario Intel will win

Most likely Intel will celebrate finally matching AMD's 4nm CPUs by laying off more workers because AMD will as usual shit all over Intel's parade using something that's even cheaper to make.

The problem is business laptops. Companies like Dell only have a handful of amd laptops.
