I want to do this but with my phone. Samsung Dex is almost there. Dream portability is running an emulated Linux distro on my phone with a think membrane keyboard and screen with a BT mouse. Maybe one day.

I fucked up my wrist again yesterday and this time I'm contemplating completely ditching mouse and keyboard use entirely and doing all my computing from a touch screen. I was thinking maybe getting an old surface or a galaxy tablet, or maybe even a framework 12, but an sbc on a drawing tablet/ touchscreen monitor could work. something i could control entirely from the touch screen and/or stylus. Then I could dual boot android and Linux on it. Probably something gnome based, and then blissOS for the android stuff. Is it worth it to dualboot or should i just stick with Termux or bluestacks?

that won't last long. touch interfaces are horrible for anything other than the very basics. just get a better keyboard and a trackball. minimize use of the trackball.

Unironically it's better than laptops. Consider you can only do 1h-2h of heavy workload on every laptop regardless if it's arm or not. This setup seems super comfy with AI MAX 395+ or m4 mini pro. Check his velcro setup.
