For work, which computer are made for, EFFICIENCY is the key metric and having as much information as possible on the screen that you can comprehend at a single given time is more valuable than some art nouveau chichi ornamentation around your window borders.
In hospitals for example, the patients rooms are usually decorated and ornamented while the operation room is highly streamlined.
If you want aesthetics at your computer, buy yourself a roman bust to put next to your monitor.
