Why do we need $3000 GPUs to see "realistic" lighting and reflections while consoles can do the same for $500?

why do we NEED realistic lights and reflections in video games in the first place?

TAA allows you to have unlimited light sources. The downside is...well look at your image. It's blurry as shit.
