>finally try out 4chanx
>pinned threads aren't automatically moved to watched threads
>catalog auto-refreshes so you can't see the last few replies of archived threads or grab their thread number easily for the archive
>thread watcher (post count/img count/whatever) has to either be floating barely on the screen or pinned to the top bar instead of where it normally is
>aesthetics are ugly and I don't think there's a way to make it look normal again just with the extra features (let me know if I'm wrong on this one)
>a couple other things I forgot that bothered me
why? I'm sure I can resolve most issues by fiddling with settings eventually but the defaults are so bad

Yeah the 4chan XT just doesn't feel right. Default 4chan is almost fine. It just has gimped auto refresh feature (probably intentional) and you can't change timestamp format. Other than that, I prefer the default thread watcher and catalog. XT catalog doesn't have the clover button on thumbnails to add threads to watch list if I remember right. The actual highlighting in the watchlist is off too, I prefer the default 4chan one where it's bolded for new posts and italics for (You)'s. 4chan watch list is slightly cucked though in that deleted threads will get wiped off it so you can't check the archives for what was deleted unless you remember all the threads you had there.

Also not a fan of the auto expand in catalog. It obscures threads below it and makes scrolling shitty. If I want to see the full thread that means it's caught my attention enough to warrant opening and reading it. But that's just a personal preference.

And yes I know you can turn it off but then that fucked with the XT catalog in another way, don't remember exactly how I just went back to default 4chan at that point.

yeah I'm glad that was easily disabled at least, I do like the expanding thumbnails though that's quite nice.

>4chanx thread?
how do you disable the catalog refreshing? I normally go away and come back after a couple hours and check on all my threads I had pinned but now it refreshes even when I hit back on my mouse/use the previous page function unlike before, often removing several threads that archived.
