Has anyone else been getting a shitton of "scam likely" calls this past single week, despite getting almost no spam calls the past few years?
What accounts for this? It makes sense to get flooded with spam in the run-up to an election.

I keep blocking the numbers and getting called by different numbers. I heard you don't want to hang up, because that tells them it's a real phone number, so I let it run, and then block them afterwards.

If no one else is experiencing this, is there any particular reason I should self-reflect on how I may have made myself vulnerable to scammers?

Should I be concerned?

>pic related was just what came from an image search for "scam likely".

i've been getting absolutely hammered by these, to the point where i permanently leave my phone on DnD.

wasn't there legislation that would make mobile ISPs responsible for jannying this shit?

Did the BBB have anything to do with this? (I'm not saying it did or didn't. I legitimately don't know.)

When did it seem to start for you?
I have one on July 3rd, 7th, 8, 9, and TWO on the 10th, and two on 11th, and two today.

They're often in the morning.

been going on forever, but looking through the logs, June 16th might be my worst day.

This is the final solution to the spamnigger problem. Every service plan should come with a control panel available through a web browser and a mobile app that has a giant toggle switch saying "NO FUCKING INDIANS ALLOWED"

I've been getting a ton of them since last tuesday. It's nuts. Only during the workday. It ramped up after I blocked and reported as spam the text message I received in the mix.

With AI laying off millions of jobs, a lot of Americans and Europeans will be tempted to be scammers too.
