You should be worried about e.g. all the Germans contributing to OSS then because any single one of them may be a sex offender. Or murderer. Or whatever.
Point is, when those people have served their sentence, they have a right on being left alone. It’s not allowed to come after them. You may not tell their employer that they have committed a crime in the past. If you do, it’s you who is going to be persecuted.
You are living in a cloud-cuckoo-land where other society standards but the ones you know do not exist.
