When you have a component that is very tippy, you often want to be able to let it fall over without it taking down your entire stack. Enter microservices. It's an engineering solution to an engineering problem.

I am glad you asked.

What they're refering to as a microservice, is in fact, spying/service, or as I've recently taken to calling it, spying plus service. The service is not a profitable system unto itself, but rather another component of a fully functioning surveillance system made useful by the synagogue of satan, globohomos and vital system components comprising a full New World Order as defined by Revelations.

Much of mankind run from modified version of the spying systems every day, without caring about it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of spying which is widely used today is often called ads, and many of its victims are not aware that it is basically the spying system, developed by the synagogue of satan.

There really is a service, and these people are victims of it, but it is just a part of the system they are prisoners to. The service is just the bait: the impulse in the system that captivates the mankind's resources from the other prisons that they are in. The service is an essential part of a surveillance system, but useless by itself; it can only oppress in the context of a complete surveillance system. The service is normally used in combination with the spying system: the whole system is basically spying with services added, or spying/service. All the so-called services are really just spying/service!

after management added too many incompetent engineers to the project, mutual foot stepping halted progress completely. microservices allowed each manager to look like their team made progress by pushing the foot stepping to the integration layer, securing their bonuses

a microservice is a service which has a single domain of responsibility and can be managed by a single two-pizza team

Instead of having one code base doing everything, you have an app for each business domain and an event database that synchronize the work.
It's weird that nobody knew the proper answer.
It's over engineered meme shit like all the "architect" stuff

A service that only represents a segment of the functionality rather than the whole which would be a monolith.
