I work in blue collared industry (logistics, specifically) where Indians are utterly rampant and I can say that these people are not competent. In fact they are incompetent to the point that they actually create more work than they do because competent people have to then fix everything else they fuck up. But the companies are run by retarded pencil pushers that are incapable of fathoming that a person can actually have negative productivity value.
Industry-wide standards have absolutely fucking crumbled to the point that it's a literal, unironic, mortal danger to people.

Absolute mess, these people are the epitome of you get what you pay for. Every day some of these fuckers generate alerts for downloading some malicious random chrome extension that just feeds out data to ChatGPT or something similar. Plus they barely speak english, so all role requests or internal change is a mess to go through when we have to verify why someone is doing what they're doing.
They also don't see the need to open a ticket half the time so we have to hunt down a bunch of alerts on why someone connected to some random AWS instance hosting critical services

Factor in the fact that they HAVE to work some insane hours or they get deported and you have some crazy power dynamics between the company and them. Wouldn't be a problem but no one in their right fucking mind is working 12 hour days, they just do 6 hours of 'work' and fuck around the other half of it. Bullshit they can't find someone not from a shithole country to do these jobs, they just want it cheaper
The overseas guys are even worse, generating alerts for not using their VPN and trying to connect to our services, trying to download apps in their AWS virtual desktops, etc.
