>>105939090 Debian is the only distro I've tried where Nvidia hasn't shit the bed, the only downside is you have to use the stock Debian Kernel unless. Arch is close, fails sometimes, but much less than advertised. Could be fully transparent if i used an LTS Kernel but i don't care. Snapshots solve it for me.
>>105939817 unless you compile the Kernel yourself* Nvidia kmods sometimes freak out if you grab the backports kernel from my experience. I never figured out if it was because of some missconfiguration or something, i just compiled everything then switched to the default Debian Kernel.
>>105939948 Not one to defend NVIDIA but I've had four monitors plugged into my 630, 660ti and now 1070 for well over a decade on windows and Linuxmint and never had any issues. What issues do you have exactly?

OP just keeps consooming driver updates then complains about it. A lot of niggers dont know this but you really dont have to update it at all. You can install the revision of when it started compatibility with your card and leave it like that. I've never had any problems compared to newer ones kept crashing.
