Because camera lenses are a bunch of glass and you cannot minimize it below a certain size. its also why phone cameras arent gonna be much better as they are now barring fundamental architectural breakthroughs - it’s all better hdr and software tricks rather than the lenses themselves improving

Why does the Air exist when you have the regular 17. Not even normies will buy the Air over the regular 17 just to have something slight thinner, that will get a thick case anyways. imo, they should've done pic related and make the "air" price the regular price.
