Whats perfect about it?

I know they got rid of the ad company they were working with and changed much of their "philosophy".

This is the issue with waterfox. They are actively trying to profit off of the browser and have been trying to develop methods to do that forever now.
Yet, the browser stands out in almost no way or is providing anything different than its competition which don't even try to profit from their projects.
Alexander/his company wants this to be a source of income, and its not going to work. Its a fork with almost no distuingashable features that actively does a lot of things worse than its competitors and Alexander as well as Browserworks have proven themselves to be obviously untrustworthy.

The BIGGEST thing Waterfox has accomplished was getting the TST dev to allow them to implement his extension as native into the browser so that you can indent tabs. That is literally all that sets it apart, almost every browser has vert tabs now.

I don't know what other browsers have it but I got really used to private tabs, as in not having to open a new incognito window when I want to check how something looks when signed off or when I want to watch some stupid video on yt without it affecting my algorithms

I'm getting regular updates, though it's still a few versions behind Firefox since it's based on ESR (it's based on ESR 128 at the moment)

Fair enough, I've been living the ebuild lifestyle for so long system updates taking 4+ hours is just normal. I'd never use it on a laptop though so If I owned one I probably would have been fucked too.
