its anti-aliasing. In response, Threat Interactive is undertaking a comprehensive redesign of the engineโs graphics pipeline to achieve crisper, more realistic visuals without sacrificing performance.
While UE5โs native anti-aliasing solutions sometimes result in jagged edges and reduced frame rates, Threat Interactive is developing a more advanced and efficient rendering technique that addresses areas Epic Games has not yet focused on.
To bring this vision to life, they are seeking $900,000 in funding to build a team of graphics and engine specialists. With a working prototype and a detailed development plan already established, the project is poised to enter full-scale production.
If youโre passionate about advancing real-time graphics, consider supporting this initiative. Find out more or contribute here: https://threatinteractive.wordpress.com/support-funding/
Your support could play a key role in shaping the future of Unreal Engine.
Normally people who say "yes you are all wrong" toward financially successful orthodox monoliths they are grifting. In this case this guy is actually correct. However that is not sufficient for me to pay for a product that doesn't exist yet.
I doubt this guy has written a single line of shader in his life.
i was underwhelmed when i realize that even pure vulkan goes to low four digit fps by the time you aninate a skeleton.
>>105956200From the amount of spam on this site the answer is yes he admits to being a dumb fuck and OP is basically his gay bitch boy posting him for $0 while that guy makes hundreds of thousands of the backs of pathetic simps like OP.
>>105956210bottleneck for simple animations is memory bandwidth
>>105956484Found the seething gayme dev
>>105956200>written a single line of shaderthat makes no sense
use "written a single line of hlsl code" next time
duh

>>105956040 (OP)That'll be $900,000 please
>>105956040 (OP)What do you have to do to UE5 to make it function as God intended (like 4.27)?
can you fucking ban this scam artist already? the moment I heard "we" from this autist it was clear he is a psychopath
Everytime I watch one of his videos he comes off as extremely autistic so I believe that while he's a grifter, he's onto something there and maybe a huge pile of money like that could solve the fucking problem
FXAA solved AA, why even bother with anything else.
>SSAA
Good but very expensive.
>MSAA
Doesn't even handle all types of jaggies and still expensive.
>TAA/DLSS
Worse than not having AA.
>>105964326he never ever proposed any solution he just wants money to "hire" the solution reminds me of this
youtube.com/watch?v=su8LDtmRmw8
like fucking logically explain how you would fix the problem by not having any source code to unreal 4/5 or unity? are you going to inject some custom AA on top? wouldn't that be horribly inefficient and glitchy due to these engines literally relying on TAA to make certain effects and sprites work? This whole bullshit is lunacy, not even with a million dollars will you get access to the source.
if this genius would at least propose a next gen engine that has no TAA and ask money for it at the very least ot would make sense
>>105960964are you retarded or something
idk if it's delusion or lithium abuse but how the fuck does he plan to get away with this? if he actually makes this money there literally will be no solution
>>105964606FX is blurry as fuck. hard pass.
so far the only thing he sort of showed off is his custom TAA settings which marginally look better if not worse due to jaggies and then like a shitty magic trick he changes the subject and everyone applauds
I never expected his shitty channel getting anywhere yet his persistent shilling is actually working
>>105964798That's everything know, just shill/grift hard enough (also get lucky) and you too can make millions just repeating shit you heard on hackernews
>>105964780Only looks bad on screenshots, not in motion. The opposite of TAA.
>>105964918>only bad in screenshotswho's gonna tell him what motion on a screen is comprised of
>>105964943If motion is composed of screenshots then why does TAA in motion looks worse than FXAA in motion despite having better screenshots?
>>105964997because it's driven by motion vectors. that's the t in TAA, the temporal processing. a faster moving screen generates larger vector values, causing more artifacts.
I have a 4k screen.
If games would be optimized enough to run on native resolution, i would not need any anti-aliasing.
It's all just patch work, trying to fix symptoms of the consequences of crappy made games.
I didn't give a single fuck about anti-aliasing when i had lower resolution monitors years ago either. Somehow it was never an issue.
>>105965002I'm well aware of that. That's why
>>105964943 is retarded.
>>105965024no you don't seem to get it. fxaa doesn't have temporal, but you're still getting blur across each frame, so you're the one that's retarded not grasping that.
>>105964997>>105965002you can increase the cost of TAA to make it more temporally stable, idk why devs don't do this or atleast let people adjust the settings themselves
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxmh7-XPb_E
Native 4k is the only good AA, followed by DLAA if there's forced TAA.
>>105964918No it doesn't. FXAA shimmers like hell in motion.
Just so you know these threads are made by a literal schizo spammer using an LLM for replies.

>>105956040 (OP)It's insane how much he killed his own hype when he started asking for the $900,000. He didn't learn the art of the grift.
SSAA is the only AA worth a damn and the only AA that will ever be worth a damn
