you dont actually use this for trips around the city right?
starting at google maps whike driving is asking for a car crash.

You donโ€™t stare at it. You glance at it without moving your head while holding still or while driving in a straight line at constant speed.

Google Maps and Waze abuse the user by allowing the US government access to surveil users, basically raping you every day you use either.

Of course not anon. My car has a built in GPS from the before times when GPS gave you the shortest fastest route and didn't try to drive you down alleys and through brick walls.

I use Organic Maps, which doesn't require gps, privacy-breaching permissions or even internet to operate.

Huh? Gps would be the most private way to get your location, it only reads sat data, it doesn't send shit.
If you use wifi/bluetoth/gsm for location everyone can see and track your mac address, also google get your data

Yes I do, learn how to drive properly. preferably on sticks too. I hate the voice over tho, too fucking distracting and way too slow to keep up with me on the wheels.

cool, new drama
it's funny because Organic Maps itself originated from Maps.me (formerly MapsWithMe) after it was sold to some gook payment processor or whatever, and Organic Maps was supposed to be the FLOSS fork not unlike the "Fossify" apps that popped up after the "Simple" apps (Simple Gallery, etc.) drama

I use OsmAnd~ with Acastus-Photon and Organic Maps as a backup. Doesn't matter if you are using a horse, flying an airplane or dive under the sea, this OsmAnd~ just works where Google Maps goes in circles not knowing what is even happening.
