I just tried to setup a few html sites and a registration / login system after setting up a home server for the first time and chatgpt outputs a completely different solution every time, most of them not working at all.
Do I still need to learn all this web stuff? I thought its the easiest for the ai to do. Is all it can do generate naked women?

The backend should log each register and login and safe data for later checkup and use, so if the server goes offline and back online its still all saved.
This basically in a few different phrasing. One time it got it working with chatgpt but trying to make the ai change stuff ruins it.

and now you know why AI is eliminating entry level jobs. you have to know what to ask for. going in completely blind doesn't go well beyond very basic stuff. i haven't use claude, but gemini is most competent with python. i find just telling it to "save the info" a bad approach. you need to specify the technologies. you want it to save that information in a database. sqlite or postgres or something like that.

I did specify in some prompts what the info is. But I guess I do have to learn it after all.
The worst thing is that you cant take your files that already work, upload it to the ai and ask to go from there. It just writes a new file completely different.

ok so I tried gemini and it was indeed more helpful. It rewrote single files without breaking the whole system and often finds the solutions to problems.
Yet here I am, still trying to register my first user 2 hours after starting.
After something works I just run into the next problem. I guess you really have to learn this still. Bc I dont know what the heck the AI is talking about most of the time and am just following instructions.
