Looks like a distro advertised to corpos for corpo purposes. Who cares?
Honestly we have too many distributions. Why focus that effort on a distro with a dozen customers when you could focus on one of the more popular specialized distros?

That's a shame, were there distros using Intel's own optimizations? Or were they too lazy and Clear Linux dying doesn't actually mean anything for the average joe?

I tried it about a year ago for a week, was ok. Snappy on intel machines, but so is archlinux, debian, gentoo. I just stay with debian now, no point in any other hit and run distro when debian has been there from the beginning of linux.

unironically internal intel, because it was made for internal development, and you just happened to be able to use it because they had to publish the source freely because of licensing. They didn't care if others used it for what it was worth but it was intended to be just internal use. Not a daily driver.

It was fast as fuck, especially on AMD CPUs with AVX-512.
