abstract 3d graphics design never left though.
Ever since everyone started embracing minimalism, all else was pushed away from mainstream so we are hardly seeing anything else.
The primary reason this design wasn't heavily adapted by the tech industry is that its just not digital friendly like vector svg images. Corporations need their logo to look appealing in varying shades and outlined versions for looking professional on, especially, the mobile platforms. Raster images are too limiting to do fancy animations that are well achievable with vector graphics.

>abstract 3d graphics design never left though.
>It just got pushed away from the mainstream in favour of minimalism
So, in other words, most things people see are no longer designed with abstract 3D graphics. Are you retarded, or just a bot?

>Corporations need their logo to look appealing in various shades/formats
Or they could just adopt a consistent branding and design scheme across their platform and content and just not have to worry about it because it always looks the same. If some company has a logo with this aesthetic, >>105963272, all their shit had better look like that.
>B-but, muh raster images, muh resolution, blah blah detail blah blah aliasing
In this day and age where every zoomer has a fucking 4k screen in their pocket, pixel density and resolution should be a non-issue. Just ship your software with a high-res version of your logo, and have the installer down sample the image to appropriate icon sizes for the screen dpi. Ezpz.

thank you for sharing your opinion.
One small issue. Nobody cares.
Google will use their material design and Apple their HIG
and all other nobodies will copy them.
Nobody cares about your retarded opinion.
Lisa and early windows had raster icons full of soul but all that changed because of modern displays. Pixel density and resolution are the biggest issues with using raster images. Shipping software with high-res version of logo is not as simple as you make assume and make it out to be. Vector images on the other hand actually make it easier to ship high and low res versions significantly effortless for both the creators and consumers.
All I see is a helplessly coping anon. Keep on raging, there is nothing you could do about it.

I couldn't find the original screenshot I was thinking of, but this is along the same lines. There was some thread on /g/ I think about something similar a while back, the phenomena extends to more beyond just AI companies.

>Nobody cares
I'm aware most people don't, but a small minority do, and they probably have more numbers than the people who actually like material design better. The vast majority will just use whatever is given to them and not care at all.
>There is nothing you could do about it
I can post about it here and rally together a group of other autists who care to conglomerate our voices. I can also put out my own design work through software projects, web pages, and other miscellaneous graphic design elements that get distributed in some form. Nothing ever changes unless someone acts to change it. We all can choose to sit here and take it up the ass, or we can take some kind of action, however small, and ineffective it may be. It's still better than nothing.
