homely means ugly, as in a person who should stay at home instead of being out in public where people have to look at them. Sort of the opposite of lovely. Homey means cozy.

Clumsy sure but it was nice
I'm lucky I got to experience everything from ball mice with rollers up til today. I expect mouse tech to change again soon. Maybe bring back those old magnetically sensitive pads, like you use with drawing tablets nowadays.

ergo+functionality
I expect the form to change from traditional horizontal mouse-type mice into either something more resembling the vertical mice or something similar
I also expect people to finally get used to things like extra buttons, more wheel functionality, and extra motion functions, like being able to twist the mouse for added control (for a standard mouse cursor might do nothing but for everything from 3d modeling to video games being able to add a rotational axis to control by default would be huge)
I also suspect balltop mice will come back into vogue, I'm using one right now and I've noticed a lot of people swapping to them recently.
Of course I could be wrong but I think it could be an interesting development. mkb have needed some updates for a while.

you mean trackball? wtf is going on in this thread

slimblade is good EXCEPT the buttons are obnoxiously loud and unpleasant. And they're at a weird angle so you have to have your forearm constantly twisted to use them. but the scroll experience is amazing. Twisting the mouse sounds dope too. I think scrolling on my old mousewhell that gives a bumping sensation somehow damaegd my nerves, the scroll bumping makes me nausous now

yeah 30 days isn't enough to adapt, and skipping through he seems to play like a retard, presumably just because of the lack of experience with trackballs. You have to get used to slinging it around and letting it roll, and getting used to the resistance of the ball's rollers.

Passing by to say etched glass is 10000/10 but don't buy a consumer one. Go to a local, reputable glazier and order a few to size. Well worth it if you play FPS games.
