total apple hater here: it's objectively a really good dac, the measurements don't lie.

there's nothing that makes high impedance headphones better, it just means they have a less efficient driver, even on studio monitors and audiophool headphones low impedance/sensitivity is becoming the norm, the only advantage to higher impedance is that it generally requires less engineering effort.
and besides... he said it's a really good DAC, not a really good AMP
it's underpowered (especialy the eu one) sure, but it's still a really good dac...

if motorola does something stupid (e.g. removing the jack), manufacturers won't follow suit, nobody gives a shit.
