Its part of general trend in web product where instead of showing you what you explicitly asked for, they show you what they want you to see. It's impossible to monetize you if they don't have control over what you watch.

even when the playlists do work, it will shuffle once between like 20 tracks, and will repeat them in the same order once the 20th track has played. gotta save everything locally now because everything's fucked. i use parabolic gui, it also allows downloading of age restricted videos if you supply it with cookies. https://github.com/NickvisionApps/Parabolic
