Looking to get a Lenovo laptop that doesn't break easily from the hinges or is made out of cheap plastic and can run Linux, Elden Ring, Delta Force, and or Rainbow Six Siege without overcooking.

Walmart also has this.

Gonna stop you right there.
Any heavy gaming is going to cause your computer to cook a bit. That's what you get when you combine powerful GPUs with little airflow inside. That's not to discourage you but anything fairly powerful is going to run on the hotter end and you need to be prepared for that.
I have a great internet connection so when I want to do high powered gaming I use GFN. But I also have the money to pay for the upper tier.

these are the highest performance """"thin"""" gaming laptops. I have a legion 7 with 3080 and its the full 160w version.
they are noisy and i have seen it thermal throttle before but performance is still very good.
mine is currently with lenovo for a trackpad replacement after right click kind of died (extended warranty).
despite this i'd say the build quality is pretty good (much better than the x220 i had many years ago).

the biggest problem by far with it is that the cooling system fills up with dust very quickly.
I have to use my computer duster thing to blow the dust chunks out every few months. remember to disconnect battery and hold the fans still when doing this to not pump voltage into the laptop.

Most recent model ASUS Strix laptops, the Dell G15s, and the Lenovo Legions are all pretty well built

No complaints with my Legion 5, though through improper care over the past 3 years performance has modestly decreased. What a beastly build quality though, nothing's broken in thr slightest besides my cat taking out a few keys.

If you are buying a gaming laptop, you are excepting it to start dying after the one year warranty expires due to heat.
It's not that the laptop manufactorers don't recognize this blatant design flaw, but retards keep buying them.

Why are third worlders obsessed with laptops?

It's actually heat cycling that kills those, many cold-hot cycles break bga connections.
I was always super unlucky with laptops that have gpus but they where all used.
