I doubt artificial wombs ever get small enough to fit until we get to like god level ai, think of all the chemicals and hormones an artificial womb would need to produce, if we ever get them to work they are gonna need entire chemical plants hooked up to them

The only feasible way I can think of this being done without constant massive maintenance is to grow a human but take the brain out/majorly lobotomize them and implant an AI chip that controls their behavior in a robot-like manner. Our current moral framework says this is perfectly fine if we halt brain development of a fetus before it reaches the end of its first trimester (the general concensus on the ethical deadline for abortion), but moralfags who don't understand their own morality will argue against this for many years.
