Why are people upset about losing tech jobs? Like, you realize tech brogramming and IT jobs barely qualify as jobs right? It's the kind of job you give to an autistic monkey so they can something to do. You just want NEET bucks from a NEET job. Even indians can do it.
They fell for the "learn to code meme" the mainstream started pushing out around 2013, but failed to account for how low the bar to be a coder really is when literally anyone and everyone in the world can get on their computer and just code. Now there's AI competently automating code (not SWE yet, coding) because it's that easy.
