Go was a mistake.
Gojeets are a plight on software engineering. Java is all you need.

By "brilliant language" he means one of the many research languages that have autistic opinionated compilers and dogshit syntax. Think any langue by Hoare

Yeah he meant: we needed a language that could be used in the real world and we had to make it easy enough for noobs

Yes. It would take at least 4 dedicated years of study for most people to learn why haskell is the way it is which could be 4 years spent building software (a literally and figuratively far more valuable experience)

Yeah, sounds like the description of your typical 1xr.

I honestly think people who chide a language for being easy to use, are insane.
Ahh yes, please give me a language that is hard to be effective with.

Go people will still defend it to this day.
it's a ball kicking language to use. I personally don't understand the hype. the parts of anything I deal with is just 100s of lines of crap because of how much a bad design the language has.
literally just add exceptions and that would fix 80% of it, but then it would be java 1.6 and go jeets would seethe. they already have the shitty ass generics, just add the real exceptions and try-catch-finally block already. kek.
