How did Google Glass and Apple vision pro fail? How did Meta AI glasses succeed?

I don't know if meta glasses succeeded but I can tell you why the other two failed.
>google glass
small batches, experimental, very high price point
>apple vision
very high price point and helmet sized

The size wasn't the problem with Apple vision, it was the fact that it used Macbook hardware, had a Macbook pro price point, could only run a handful of ipadOS apps instead of just macOS despite the "spatial computing" shilling, and third party software wasn't allowed to access the cameras. You couldn't even use it for games since there was no controller support until almost a year later.

Those are definitely all issues with it but the size is still definitely an issue. Nobody wants to wear giant ski goggles everywhere they go.

They should make something like the saiyan scouter, with gps directions, call, texting and camera/image recognition features with e sim or some other shit. I would buy it without second thought.

How the hell do you keep it on your head and aligned with your eye?

>Google glass
Expensive way to tell everyone in your vicinity that you have crippling autism. No real uses.
>Apple vision pro
Useless by design. Marketed using the ugliest people they could find to strap it to, since they couldn't advertise functionality or use-cases, as it had essentially none. Plus it was the size of a Tron helmet and required an external battery pack. Basically someone looked at a MacBook and asked "What if we got retards to use this as a hat?" and then crippled anything that would make their new retard computer hat useful or interesting.
>Meta AI glasses
I had never even heard of these until your thread, so I doubt they're doing significantly better than, or have more adoption than the other two.

I think this style of computing is inevitable, but we just don't have the miniaturization tech for it yet.

That works great for ears. Now how are you going to keep the glass aligned to your eyes? I don't know if you know this but there's a lot of movement of your ear and around your ear when you make facial expressions. This would cause misalignment on the regular. On top of that the uneven weight distribution would further cause problems with sagging.

Anchor the ear piece around the ear and extend the glass part a bit so it can rest on the nose like the middle piece of real glasses

Might work but then it wouldn't look like the scouter and would look weird/awkward/ugly by extending the glass that far.

Ugly, useless

Ugly, useless
>Meta AI glasses
Less ugly than a GoPro. Can be used to make FPV porn.
