Is it possible to contain entire habitats and vehicles in a minuscule capsule?

No.
>Why
Conservation of mass

Why not?

Blackholes contain the mass of entire stars in a single point so yes its possible.

In theory you might somehow be able to compress the mass since atoms are like 99% empty space with crazy, quantum future bullshit but like >>105978528 said, it would still weigh 50,000ibs.

Yeah, and they also obliterate any meaningful structure in the process. A black hole doesn't store your Tesla, it spaghettifies it into a stream of fundamental particles and erases all information behind an event horizon.
You might as well just recreate a new car from thin air if you are aiming to reverse spaghettified matter.

OP didnt ask about *retrieval* however did he? Just containment.

Possible everything is, but I don't know how or someone that knows how
My idea would be to store the concept and retrieve matter from environment

Satellites and rovers are examples of vehicles often folded into capsules (more accurately, under fairings)

Yes as long as you use 7Z. With Zip or RAR it's not possible, they only support 2 dimensional compression.

If you are not concerned with retrieval, just burn it all down, it'll be compressed down to CO2 and ashes.

Okay but what if we developed a tesseract, a place within a place of sorts? The capsule would just act as a conduit then.

just use the black hole as mass storage (held safely in place with magnets) and unzip the black hole when you need to reassemble stuff based on previously saved configurations bro

You could theoretically store them as compressed data and then reconstruct it, either from the materials available around you or from some super light and tough synthesized bullshit material. It won't be lossless a reconstruction, but maybe close enough.

ig you could just 3d print everything (maybe including parts of the printer)

Only energy can access deeper dimensions and it takes energy to allow energy to access them.

what if each capsule transforms mass into energy and stores it in an electric field like a capacitor

>mass into energy
Increases entropy.
>energy into mass
Decreases entropy, meaning it will take at least as much energy to perform.

If you're talking about breaking down every single atom of a house into a capsule, that capsule would be the size a car while still weighing as heavy as a house.

I always assumed the capsules were transporters since there's no way in hell someone could carry a house, a boat, a vehicle, etc. In a small case like Bulma's capsule case without it weighing at least 10 metric tons.

They have to be transporters where the capsule activates a wormhole from a stockroom where the item is located. And from a cost & convenient perspective, that makes better since. No one with capsules actually own the items that are transported.
