georgia tech is literally 1984.
The wifi restriction is a pain in the ass. Can't access torrent websites to acquire books that cost a fortune nor can I fucking access chatgpt.
I burnt a fuckton of data with my hotspot.
>Is there any way I can bypass this firewall?
>yeah I'm a fucking idiot and I need fucking help

go to your local mcdonalds and use their wifi, also stop using chatgpt. if you can't do the coursework without it, then it means jobs can replace you outright with future AI agents

Why wouldn't you just use a VPN and split tunnel

Time for spoonfeeding you Anon, I guess
https://linuxize.com/post/how-to-setup-ssh-socks-tunnel-for-private-browsing/
https://github.com/Angristan/OpenVPN-install
https://getoutline.org/
https://github.com/trailofbits/algo
https://github.com/XTLS/Xray-core
But honestly, go for the 1st option. Get yourself a cheapo VPS (hint: lowendbox is your friend), set up a non privileged user so you don't ssh into it as root, and tunnel your browser through SOCKS and ssh
I don't know if a torrent client can go through a SOCKS proxy, but there's still aria2c on the VPS itself (and then sftp to pull the files) if the download is not too large (unlike your mom).
Second option to deploy an openvpn server is also very easy and that time I'm sure your torrent client will work with it.
And >>105979047 is right, stop using chatgpt

This is true for literally all knowledge workers, regardless of how they are trained. Even if he goes boomer-mode and studies fully offline in a library full of books he's still getting crushed by AI.

That sounds based af, ngl.
You're supposed to learn how to think about your choices, to understand why to pick one thing over another. That's genuinely difficult; it's training the most complex parts of your brain, and if you're not struggling with it, it doesn't work. Outsourcing your thinking to the goyslop BS factory just makes you trivially replaceable with that AI.
