i did it once before building the computer and that's it. no more!

appcenter for gigabyte boards is easy, you download the bios file and it does all the work for you, it restarts the computer, goes into bios and applies it, then restarts you back to your desktop. no need to do any usb shit, you just select it in their @BIOS program in appcenter and it does it all

As a Linux user, I use their Q-Flash feature w/ a usb stick.
You can flash the bios without a cpu, ram, or graphics card installed... which is a little spooky, desu.

No, but you have to go back in and check your settings anyways since some shit gets factory reset in the process. Or in my case, some parts of the BIOS is not in English for whatever fucking reason. Thanks Gigabyte.
