How can I prevent youtube from auto translating audio tracks and video titles to my preferred language rather than allowing me to read/listen to the original? How do I opt out from this mandatory hand holding?

There are a couple of extensions. I'm currently using "YouTube No Translation". I believe the other one was called YouTube Anti Translate. It stopped working for a while so I switched from it, but they probably updated it in the meantime.

Maybe there are some userscripts that do the same thing, I haven't looked into it. Also, the extensions work fine without any API access so don't copy it over unless you absolutely have to.

Also, I'm only talking about Firefox. They do have Chromium equivalents, but depending on the Manifest V3 situation, it might not work on all of them as well. I'm saying this because I noticed that one of the extensions has a MV3 version for Firefox as well, maybe both of them do.
