LH numpad is where it always should have been though? The alternative is needing to take your hand off the mouse which is clearly less efficient for numerical data entry, is it not?

I’m left-handed and I prefer to ten-key with my right hand because my left hand has a pencil in it and I’m doing math when I use the ten-key usually
Sometimes right-handers don’t make sense

So what is this? Any other picture exist? The website just has that same overhead shot.

Is it like a modern, Linux based C128?
Is it like an adult Raspberry Pi 400, and the right half of the image is a flip cover?

>Is it like a modern, Linux based C128?
no. just rips off the design of those old computers but for some retard reason keypad is on the left. even ripped off the name from amiga's workbench with "Caligra Workbench" - a linux based os! that's all i can find about it. it's based on linux. what version? who knows. they're using a mobile cpu (ryzen 9) which you can find in mini computers for half the price. seems like a joke computer for morons with more money than brain cells.

This is a product designed for the fashion of it and very little else.
It doesn’t have shit for details, it’s 50% Ryzen specs and 50% one singular picture of the machine before throwing you at a preorder screen.
Blackbird gave them a million dollars for some reason, so hopefully there will at least be an actual product some day to look at.

The issues with this, left hand numpad suddenly takes your tiny audience and cuts by 90%. The keys being mechanical is secondary to comfortable key design and flat flush keys are not comfortable. The whole “keyboard shaped computer” thing was because these used to sit directly in front of large square crt monitors, it looked like a multi piece terminal which made sense at the time.
Now they don’t really make sense because the monitor can be moved with one finger. This will just be like a big keyboard with a bunch of cables run into it on your desk.
“Oh it’s function over form it’s not meant to look pretty” then why is it bead blasted aluminum with flat keys and why is it shaped like a keyboard pc. This could just be a Ryzen mini pc you mount to your monitor and you have the exact same thing functionally but for $1500 less.

i put my mouse in front of my keyboard instead of too the side cause its quicker to get to most keys keys this way.
left handed might be a good way to do things

most people are taught to use their right hand for the keypad, even lefties that have mouse on left side of keyboard. whoever designed this system is retarded and just did this because lol random and different. hardcore cringe.

It's a tough call some people will call you a nigger for even having one, either size could be useful, but if you need to hold a piece of paper or put a finger on it while entering data, and you're forced to use the mouse too, then you want the mouse and numpad next to each other for one hand to use both. Since the mouse is usually on the right the numpad being on the right makes the most sense. However if you were always using the mouse like in a game and your other hand always just pressing keys the left would make sense. But also however since this is a terminal I think the implication is that this is going to be for people who may not plan on needing a mouse at all. So since this is a terminal they put it on the left bc idk

I feel like anyone interested in a Linux "terminal" would be competent enough to just install it on a mini PC.
And anyone interested in a $2000 Linux machine would just install it on a Macbook.

This exists for no one.

LH numpad is indeed keyed.

I want a keyboard with only red backlight which appears only through the clear part of the keys where the character appears. Or maybe a hardware switch to select the color.

Braille of the primary character for the key would be nice for typing in the dark too.
