Many techfags masturbate so much about backed and weird programming functions that they forget the most basic thing: the program and the GUi has to be used by a human.

For what I've seen in many of these open spruces projectd is that the UI is completely horrible. Same color for everything, no distinction among settings and options and they give the same value to all tools instead of prioritizing.

It's like they sacrifice basic human social abilities forprogramming skills.

As a usability specialist I could write a fuckton about this but a) it will be ignored here and b) someone already did. Read "the inmates are running the asylum".

tl;dr making it usable requires a radical shift in workflow and thought process where you do tons of work before you type a single line of code

Most GUI frameworks are absolute dog shit which you must struggle with to get even the most basic interface.

I know about the process but at the same time Steve Jobs did none of that and created one of the best usable devices to date.
All this shit like need finding, prototyping and testing seems like a crutch for low IQ designers. Also corporate bullshit like not being able to move a button to an obviously better position unless you have A/B tested it first.

A UI autist can't build tools, a tools autist can't build UI

Source is my ass but I feel that autists make fun of normies for their perceived lack of understanding and adherence to routine without thinking (sheeple, whatever), but fall victim to the same criticisms in a different way that they can't perceive. To a normie the autists way of life is unfathomable and strange as well.

The point I'm trying to make is both sides are victims of their own minds and can't think outside of their own world view while believing with certainty they are correct.

This translates over to their work in the things they create, and in the way they create them. FOSS fags are notorious for horrible UIs and convoluted means of using a program. You might be ridiculed for asking for a GUI, for a example.

Normies bake useless bloatware, create problems for themselves, or are just blissfully ignorant of the problems in the software they use without even considering there is one.

However normies have a sense of something I can't articulate, you can use them as a litmus test for the path of least resistance in user experience. They also have a sense for pleasant stylizing of programs (not necessary usability)

FOSS fags programs are (largely) like homes designed and furnished by autistic men with no woman in their life. It's something you can just tell.

I think Steve was someone rare who understood the practical side of design and user experience and the aesthetic, path of least resistance with pleasant looks. Basically, no stupid bullshit, it just werks, and is designed to be usable by your dad. This applies to both software and hardware for old Apple.

Not everything in this world has to be for you. Sink, swim, or stay in the shallow water.

I think a big contributing factor is that everything related to aesthetics and style is considered "feminine and therefore gay" by a lot of these people.
This goes for home interior decorating, classy / tasteful artwork, as well as good-looking product and website design.
"Lol look at this faggot studying the space between elements and their colors. 'User Experience' is not real work, lmao. I only work on things that achieve ACTUAL RESULTS."
(while failing to realise that UX also creates actual results)

UX is just for people like you who are too retarded to think in the abstract to be able to interface with systems. I make all the shit work then someone else makes all the pretty little icons for retards like you to tap on. Function always trumps form when it comes to the serious shit.

because software design is easy and fun but UI design is difficult and boring.

It all runs on a bunch of shit with plaintext configurations and command line applications holding it up. Worthless office drones then come here to insist that Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Apple iOS are the pinnacle of computer software. Techlets don't belong here. Every time they post they reveal their incurious nature, their ability to see technology as a consumer product only and not something to learn or perhaps master. They are all lesser beings. Utterly beneath those of us who control our machines instead of pay to be told what to do.
