What is up with all the anti Linux threads and pro Windows threads all of a sudden? Funny enough, the threads made me switch to Linux and I am quite happy with it.

Microsoft has been paying freelance jeets for over a decade to shit on Linux on various internet forums. I've got a screencap where a jeet flag on /pol/ I think admitted to it.

After the forced switch to Win11 and obvious shittification of Win11 in general there was a barrage of pro Linux/pro Apple threads. Seems Satya caught wind of this and hired an army of Bangladeshi's to spam Microshit here in response.

Windows is unironically just better. It just works, and the spying is easy enough to turn off. You’ll put more effort learning how to get Linux to work in a worse state of usability than just learning how to turn off telemetry, use a custom ISO, or set up a firewall and fuck about with the registry for a bit.
It’s as easy and downloading and installing an LTSC iso and running the Titus utility from powershell.
Linux is fundamentally a hobby OS for desktop use. It’s gotten much better but there are still certain things that are just janky, FOSS software is usually just worse, and the community is complete dogshit.

This anti linux shilling is having the streisand effect and adoption is growing more rapidly. Opening the terminal isn't even necessary for many distros now for a normie user. You could mirror Windows in functionality and have it be faster and more efficient. I know that is what people using Linux don't care to hear, but that is what most people want.
