>be a good goy, program a software project for customer
>finish project in 1 year, earlier than expected
>customer ends my contract as soon as possible
>the software is now in maintenance phase and being deployed to >10 customers
>the company makes millions with my shitty code
>the software employs hundreds of middle aged office women in my country
What's the point, for me? I got a shitty salary from that job and now it makes shekels for some kikes. I made it as a solo dev mostly.

You're not the only person in the world who could build their project, you're replaceable. Learn your place goy.

>wahhh the business I sold a product to made money with it
welcome to economics 101
You made money on the electricity and hardware sold to you. The power plant made money on the fuel it bought. The refinery nade the money on the crude it bought. The resource extractor made money on the equipment it bought. And so on and so forth.
Every business by definition exists to make money, so the only reason they buy anything is to make money with it. If you don't like that don't do B2B but B2C, condumers don't buy shit with a profit expectation.
Specializing is more profitable than trying to extract every single drop of value from what you do.
Maybe you could've made that company yourself. Probably not because you're a solo dev bad at managing people and bad at maintaining good relations with your clients. You didn't care when your clients crashed and burned into nothingness because you already got your money. Well you got your money this time too, so suck it up

And now you know why stock benefits exist. Too bad, that all companies can just decide 'on their own' to not give those out anymore and not give you any incentive to make your company prosper.

Good. Fuck off from society until you understand the concept of value added
>buy
Lmao widdle baby wants to trade his cushy specialized effort of sitting down and typing on a keyboard for actual work. Nah bitch, look for your own ore, make your own kiln, smelt it yourself, make a saw, cut down a tree and make a cabin from it. See how much time it takes compared to working minimum wage and buying it outright

"Added value" is whatever you convince people it is lmao what a retarded argument. Those white women sending emails all day will get more money than OP even tho they do nothing.

The actual lesson here is that OP has to learn how to advocate for himself instead of licking boots. I've seen devs who do far less get far more.
