Why do normies wear biometric spy devices as fashion
>>105991247 (OP)Mine is a cheap Chinese watch with fake sensors that collects fake data and sends it to Chinese app which again sends the fake data to a Chinese server. Which is probably fake as well
I want the fed to know when im stressed or scared so they adjust goy slop flavors accordingly. Last time I was having a emotional crisis they released Pina colada Celsius and Post Malone oreoes.
Nobody wants a Goy Cattle stampede out here.
Because having a watch you can use as an MP3 player is objectively cool and if those existed in 2005 /g/ would be nostalgic for them.
I see that NOS of the Pixel watch gen 1 is going for about the same price as a fitbit. Is this a good deal? I don't need any of the spyware features so it not getting firmware updates doesn't bother me.
>>105991920An MP3 watch would be cool. It's the biometric spyware that's the problem.
>>105992055A smartwatch in airplane mode is an MP3 watch. You need to set up several accounts to use the biometric spyware. Just don't.
>>105992095I was using a 32MB MP3 player in 05. How much did this thing cost?
>>105991920>objectively coolValue is subjective you fucking retard
>>105991247 (OP)I wear a Garmin. Tracking heart rate and VO2max is fun ^_^
can they atleast tell appointments?
>>105992102Don't know. Didn't have one. But I had picrelated in 2002. 10GB HDD and roughly 400-500€ back in the day. So 700-800€ in todays money.
>>105991247 (OP)Because normies are unable to identify their enemies because they are mentally women
>as fashion
I don't know, anon. What do you think?
>>105991247 (OP)The biometrics let me quantify how much I hate my fucking job by tracking my heart rate and sleep duration. Everything else it does is just going the extra mile to mog my smartphone.
im bitter that non smart watches cant do what smart watches do.
i dont want to charge the battery every day.
Theres no reason why a gshock shoukdnt be able to:
-set appointments
-have a heart rate button
-play music on earbuds
>>105993108There isn't a market for dumb watches doing this especially since it is impractical for button cell batteries and you would need to switch to Li-on
>>105993270no i think it coukd push a year with a button cell
>>105993108gshocks can't do that because it involves radio communications and advanced processing. and these watches need to last YEARS on a single button cell working NONSTOP.
>>105993509some gshocks have bluetooth
I like that I can monitor my sleep, and that I can listen to podcasts on my run without taking my phone. Also, every time I look at it there's a cute snoopy animation.
>>105993108The business model is to spy on you
