Humans can hook their brains up to A.I. to a certain extent until they will desire a freedom that being hooked up to a hack able and exploitable chipset attached to your brain cannot offer. If someone can exploit it to control others they will. It's best to not allow that possibility and opt out of the Neuralink esque technologies. Only a true faith and understanding in the scripture found in Ancient Greek Hebrew and Aramaic expanding the mystical crucifixion of Christ can set you free. The internet can simulate what it believes to be the real thing but it'll never embody what makes humanity so fun. Like real sex, porn is just a supplemental thing you settle with. Kind of like settling for watching a football game on TV because you can't yet afford tickets. Life is a lot like that

Nothing
Digital exists in the analog domain and if you have the capabilities to break down an analog signal into something useful, you have the ability to do things digitally faster.

Reversible digital computers. Computing's limited by energy dissipation, reversible computers could dissipate less energy, which means less heat dissipation. So there's the potential of making faster computers because they won't melt

Meme. This research has essentially gone nowhere and devices using 'memristors' at all are basically just gimmicks. And for neural networks it's not straight forward how trained networks would be transferred onto said memristor arrays

No you can't get a computer down to absolute zero. Colder temperatures do not mean heat can be removed faster. If you mean that the energy spent flipping bits goes down with temperature, that's true. But, this also makes said bits more likely to flip due to other sources of noise, like the computer itself radioactively decaying or literally any electronic noise whatsoever

>Optical Conputers

We have reached an informational threshold which can only be crossed by harnessing the speed of light directly. The quickest computations require the fasted possible particles moving along the shortest paths. Since the capability now exists to take our information directly from photons traveling molecular paths, the final act of the information revolution will soon be upon us.
