I am once again asking for a justification of why HDB does not recruit on GGN.
The standard requirements the other cabal trackers ask for are quite hard (2 years, Master Gamer, 250+ uploads), but even still HDB could easily add their own extra requirements like 500+ uploads, or 250 games, etc.

That depends. If you are truly indifferent to quality and you download only stuff that's common, yes you can probably be fine with public trackers. In some countries the copyright holder can get your ISP to drop you if you continue torrenting, in some other countries they can actually start to blackmail you with taking the matter to court.

If you don't want to risk it with your ISP or with copyright enforcement, all you need is IPT to be honest. People usually start seething about IPT but nobody so far has been able to deny that it has absolutely everything, the economy is easy and if you just download and seed you're going to be perfectly fine. I still use IPT to download programs because none of the cabal trackers have any alternatives. If I need to get photoshop it's IPT or I'm SOL.

I am in 30~ trackers including all the usual must-have sites and some usenet indexers. Not really missing any niche I'm interested, the two trackers that sometimes get mentions are TiK and MS but I don't really want to collect them, even if they recruit again. I did miss the BiB train and plan to join one day even though I know the economy is dogshit and I'd probably not use it save for some edge cases. I have a very low opinion of anyone who would. Not because of the rules per se but because they would give actual money for something I got for free. It's pathetic. Whatever value you place on a tracker invite it shouldn't be monetary. Not even because of ethics but because of practical concerns. The tracker you paid your way into could go away tomorrow then you spent money on nothing. If your inviter gets caught up in a tree ban you fuck up your cabal standing.

You have to complete within 30 days. It takes effort. I suggest uploading 10 GB of stuff and get it over with. Or a simple way without uploading your own torrent is look at recent torrents uploaded, and grab it from somewhere else first, then do a force recheck to seed. Works great for JAV as it gets transferred from sukebei nyaa all the time. Promotions like freeleech, 50% off, 2x upload do not apply to seedboxes. Lots of my invitees have failed the assessment. Download size exceeds 10 GB and share rate is less than 0.6 will be disabled. Share rate lower than 0.3 will be immediately disabled. M-team inherently has x2 upload so that's good. Seeding 20 torrents is ~14.637 bonus points / hour. Seed 30 torrents 8 hours a day and you can pass 4500 bonus points.

Slightly off topic but how is one to determine which encodes are better than others on PTP? Golden Popcorn torrents are fee and far between and the ones that do exist are typically many years old, plus they don't hand those out for UHD encodes.

Reading the notes can help determine if it's a low effort shit encode or something done by somebody skilled. From an archival standpoint it kinda complicates things doesn't it? There are encodes that improve upon the source and I could see why people would want to keep them instead of a remux or disc. But if they insist upon keeping the lossless audio just to preserve it they also need to obtain that track and mux it in which means they can't seed it anymore.
