I started opening Youtube videos with MPV via custom shortcut keybind so that I can use h.264 without having to install Violentmonkey and user script. Also the Youtube website is these days so heavy and slow that I try to avoid it. This way I don't have to enable cookies or site data for Youtube website at all. Also having basic actually reliable loop and A-B loop features is nice while in Youtube they are half broken. Now my i5-2500k went from 80% utilization to low as 10% and GPU still doesn't use more than 13%.

Also changed from Betterbird to Evolution, and RAM usage went from 400 MB to low as 190 MB. Tiny "unnecessary" or "pointless" savings actually help alot when you do this here and there without losing features. I have 16 GB RAM but when I keep everything open and start random heavy things at once, RAM usage can go over that 16 GB if my 100 random things use 8 GB RAM instead of 2 GB.
