there used to be. there was the /hmg/ threads, back when maderas used to make them in 2017/2018. then he lost his mind and posting pictures of himself doing kickboxing and was amazed people worked out who he was and where he worked.

Breaking into other people's machines is how I learned how to properly secure my own. I rarely discuss the subject here because every time I do it's met with total RETARDS who insist that doing shit that could get them hacked is perfectly fine. There are some good things to be had here. I learned a lot from /g/. But you need to be prepared to spot all the dunning-kruger in action posts that flood the board. There are so many people here who are both loud and stupid. They will post endlessly about how their personal setup or workflow is perfection and yours is shit. I've learned to ignore them but that doesn't mean I don't tire of reading their drivel. It may sound like I'm putting myself on a pedestal and trying to elevate myself above all of /g/ but that's not true. I'm a lowly idiot compared to some of the people here. When I spot someone who genuinely knows what they're talking about it's usually pretty obvious. I've been chided for being wrong by people like this sometimes and instead of getting butthurt I learned from the experience.
