Are costly new ThinkPads with OLED displays worth it, considering the risk of screen burn-in?

answer is always no

I have a gen 11 Carbon with OLED. It's quite pretty, but the higher resolution does cost you battery. Into my second year of use, no burn in so far. Should note that this thing gets stupid hot when CPU does anything for more than a few seconds.

it's not gimping usage if it's bright enough

I use 45% on my laptop and it works just fine
