when a new Mozilla leadership realized they can use Firefox as a tool to spread propaganda and take money from Soros

Firefox 27 is the last unpozzed version. Brendan Eich got kiked on April 3rd 2014.
Firefox 52 ESR is the last usable version.
Use either Basilisk, Serpent, or Iceweasel-UXP.

When they gimped the mobile browser and restricted what extensions you could run. That's really my only big grievance.

When DownThemAll and FTP stopped working. Actually, it started going downhill since e-mail was split out of Mozilla into Thunderbird.

Updating browser extension code is a nightmare for devs so they just stop maintaining their stuff. Firefox extensions went from you can do anything to basically iframes now. Any code doesn't just run, the browser treats it as <iframe>

When it split from the Mozilla app suite. Gone are the days of MAS and StarOffice being installed side-by-side, and it's a worse world for it.

It started when they broke all extensions in an update. Most of the extensions that came back past that point were broken or flawed in some way that they weren't before, and a lot were just never updated. Worse things happened later but this was the first sign of trouble from what I remember.

I stuck with Mozilla Internet Browser or whatever it was named for as long as possible before being forced to "upgrade" to Firefox, which felt like a downgrade despite the hype.

Immediately after Chrome became a thing. No one can compete with it without stooping to Goggle's level, though I wouldn't put it past the current Mozilla crew.

makes sense, 2014 was the last year of normalcy and the year the globohomo clown world machine was already on full rev behind the scenes preparing itself for the big rugpull. we're already 10 years deep in this shit and i doubt we can stand another 10.
