Windows 11? NO THANKS! So, some time ago, I came with the thought of trying Windows 11. I found that board and started reading what you said about it. Windows 11 is apparently highly regarded by millions of people. So I installed windows 11 to my MacBook via Bootcamp. It was nice that it allowed by default to keep my MacOS intact.

The First boot was awesome. That looked and worked very different compared to MacOS, but very nice. Unfortunately, from that it was only worse. And I realized what a piece of crap Windows 11 really is.

Why don’t you have proper local file search in Windows 11? I tried searching for my resume on the start up menu, but all it does is to search for resume online on Bing. All my files were automatically uploaded to Onedrive cloud.l And I couldn’t find those alternative options to search files locally anywhere. I googled and I found a bunch of old forum posts and obscure wikis that told me to use the command line. Like “CD User. CD Resume”

REALLY GUYS!!?? A FUCKING COMMAND LINE IN CONSUMER GRADE OS IN FUCKING 2025? I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Linux Devs realize customers want GUI and make OS that doesn’t require them to use command lines.

Does that happen when you install Arch?
