passmark's data got thier data from people running passmark benchmark. if amd just spam the benchmark 24/7 they can get it over 90%

intel had long contracts in place 10-15 years, and now that those are up and they have nothing to compete with epyc, AND amd has managed to prove that epyc is a stable and performance platform over the last 8 years. Can't be that surprising they decided against renewing contracts.
