Is it just me or did they make the thumbnails on 4chan blurrier and lower quality?

It's much more pixelated now since the last few days for me at least.

I uploaded a 4k picrel image for test purposes, but I think it's a (You) issue.
Looks fine on my machine.

chrome and firefox based browser have "adjust image" renderer. Changing config flags and updates can mess it up.

is it site dependent? I only have this problem on 4chan
