We had 365 at work and it was so bad that we installed LibreOffice on our work computers and used that instead.

my work copy of outlook 2019 hasn't updated in a year and last week it got a copilot button
if you click it it says copilot is disabled by an administrator

I find it really funny that lots of people call themselves "libertarians" or defend capitalism and free markets, and say they are for competition and stuff, yet no one (except chink companies and FOSS devs maybe) even dares offer alternatives to products made by Microsoft, Google, Apple & other big american corpos. how come?

is having government or military orgs (like DARPA in the US) do research to help shady corporations (sometimes financed by the CIA through in-Q-tel) make shitloads of money while giving all your data to the NSA a good thing because trickle-down economics are real and great? or is it bad? what about killing journalists like michael hastings? or giving marijuana, cocaine and LSD to your own population, like the CIA did during their experiments and during the iran-contras issue?
do you think that governments don't exist to fund and protect these corporations at all costs? that capitalism would still exist if there was no government at all and that free markets are actually free?
how come all of that is bad when china does it? is it because they are communists? what are the actual differences between the US government and the current chinese government anyway?
