Why PC building style has been the same for the last 30 years? why not change the parts design, why not make it easier?

It's already easy as it is. Literally the square shape goes into the square hole.

ATX is a standard for a reason.
As for color, you can add RGB.

I was going to say its already easy enough like everyone else but then I remembered there still are some questionable designs choices that are still on certain motherboards. CPU is the least of my worries. My biggest worries are how hard I need to press down when inserting certain parts out of fear of bending the motherboard as I heard more horror stories from that than a few bent pins on the CPU.

Hearing that crackling noise always has me sweating bullets. There's some motherboard brands/models that have the shitty way to install RAM too. Where instead of 2 latches that you unlock and simply insert the RAM until both latches snap in, there's some with only 1 latch and no matter what, you have to force one end down and all you hear is crunching noise along with the motherboard's crackling noise.

Who do SFFs always have such terrible GPU idles, anyways? My first guess is it has to do with the PSU or space for ambient radiation but those are just shots in the dark.

the only thing that has happened to pc building is as follow
>rgb shit on everything fans
>screens everywhere even fans
>reduce storage trays
>psu shrouds
>gpu support bars
>screens on cpu coolers
>screens on io boards

That literally it just more screens.

With cases that attempt to innovate being the big types, they need to try having a board which has the CPU socket on one side and the PCIe socket for the GPU being on the backside. Dual rows of front fans and rear fans.

intel attempted to change the standard to BTX a couple decades ago. and it failed terribly due to industry-wide inertia to move to a new standard

Why didnt anyone merge the PSU and the motherboard? It would eliminate half the connectors. Tbh you can get rid of SATA too because m.2 is enough

Merging such components seems not quite logical. Did you mean routing more of the power sockets through the motherboard? They are currently experimenting with doing so, but its more like a hole cut into the motherboard to allow the connector to pass through. Not really anything you can do about having many different wires going everywhere, and also it avoids having a single point of failure.

All I want is a new form factor that mandates positioning on board and connector types for things like front panel/power/SATA to be in more convenient locations

Shape doesn't matter
Also, I want a power plug that's got spring tension and is actually easy to plug/unplug without sharp plastics involved.

the ugliest part of any system is the CABLE BLOAT and custom cabling is a ridiculous requirement to not have a machine that looks like a rat's nest.

But they haven't? You're a filthy zoomer who don't know how cases were 30 years ago, starting at the psu placement and several other changes.
