>>106028431 (OP)>It's the platform that sucksYou do not understand anon. It's not so much the platform or youtube itself. It is advertisers and the entire advertising industry. Even when people paid for a streaming service to get away from ads - once enough people do that and are not watching ads that simply isn't allowed - advertisers have powerful noses to sniff these people out, like rats they will follow people where ever they go. Advertising creep is inevitable, adverts must be present in all aspects of life everywhere, you are not allowed to live without being bombarded by ads seeping into your subconscious and manipulating your psychology. When too many people are no longer way longer watching ads/engaging less with other ad driven services - the ads inevitable come. It doesn't matter it if you pay for it. If too many people pay for youtube premium then it will also be riddled with ads - it's not about youtube making enough money even, advertisements *have* to be seen by X people. So even if you replace youtube, advertisers will always find a way to get to you.
