So why exactly do I need 38162 possibly conflicting header files?
I'm I expected to learn all of these?

Not my problem. I'm using UUIDs for headers.

no, you're expected to learn how to grep through them, give up, then google, then grep again, and finally find your answer.

no, you're expected to learn how to grep through them, give up when you can't filter out the terminal vomit, then google, then grep again, and finally find your answer.

Think of header files like a man page for an even worse version of linux. For the programs used to make user space programs.

Except you only get usage, maybe some misleading comments. Then you go look at the code and it's all macros and nested if statements.

If people spent 1 tenth of the time learning the header files that are on their system instead of reinventing the wheel we would live in a workless utopia.
