It turns out Zuckerkike's website maintains a ghost profile for everyone that they know about through either old accounts or from people uploading pictures of you and tagging them. So there is a zombie account that's been sitting there collecting messages and friend requests for over a decade now. This is after I spent days upon days and wrote a custom script to delete all my old posts/uploads and made damn sure to not log-in for the required 2 weeks for the account to really be deleted.

The botnet waits for no one.

I remember when they looked at other people's contact list, i.e. normalfag associate gets my number for work reasons, not even a day later I get an email from FB suggesting I make an account. Makes me sad that other people create risk for me simply because my name/number were saved. Makes me want to go back to having all numbers printed on a sheet of paper, and deleting every number from contacts, but for the sake of practicality it won't remove you from the dragnet if you were exposed before taking infosec seriously.
